Where are we?
We are situated on Speight's Corner, a well known local landmark in Kettering, by the traffic lights on the busy corner of London Road and Bowling Green Road.
The building was originally a photographer's studio but has also been a dress agency and flower shop. We are only a short walk from the town's main public car park at the Cornmarket Hall (free all day on Sundays and weekdays after 6pm). We are very grateful to Kettering Borough Council for the lovely flower displays they bless the town with every season. Watch out for our eye catching posters and window displays too....
Why are we here?
To furnish people with the ability to live their lives, made new, with the Word of God established in their hearts, growing to be like Christ in every way.
Everyone is welcome at Gateway Community Church whatever their background. We are on the ground floor and there is one step and opening double doors for wheelchair users. Being a historic building we still have an outside toilet and no climate control so do dress accordingly!
For the Children
Gateway Community Church loves children and believes strongly that God created family. Our main room is quite small so to help parents of babies and toddlers we have renovated a store room for use as a creche room with a video link to the main service so you can still be a part of what's going on if you feel the need to take your child out of the service.
Worship is the most valuable thing a human being can do so we encourage children to stay and be a part. Our prayer is they will catch the spirit of their parents meeting with the living God and desire the experience for themselves. There are colouring pens, and a small selection of books and soft toys available in the creche but please use sanitiser.
